Psalm 3

A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how many are mine adversaries become! Many are they that rise up against me. Many there are that say of my soul: 'There is no salvation for him in God.' Selah
But thou, O LORD, art a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head. With my voice I call unto the LORD, and He answereth me out of His holy mountain. Selah. I lay me down, and I sleep; I awake, for the LORD sustaineth me.  I am not afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God; for Thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek,Thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.  Salvation belongeth unto the LORD; Thy blessing be upon Thy people. Selah

Shalom B'harim Mission Statement

We are coming together as a Jewish community to provide a place of Authentic Jewish worship, learning, and assembly, and to engage various other activities that will promote spiritual and educational welfare of the Jewish people of the North Georgia Mountains.

Our focus is in the building of a caring Jewish Community, in the spirit of our shared traditions. We are committed to a participatory and democratic process both in congregational governance and in worship.

We hope to encourage and support one another as we grow in our studies and in loving-kindness and social responsibilities.
